Quinta da Corte: An Exceptional Estate in the Heart of the Douro

Nestled in the heart of the Douro Valley, Quinta da Corte offers breathtaking views over the terraced vineyards of one of the world’s oldest wine regions. The estate’s collection of houses creates an exceptional retreat, blending comfort, elegance, and authenticity.

The Main House
The single-story main house features five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or shower room. It also includes a reception hall with restrooms and a small boutique where guests can purchase local wines, olive oils, and souvenirs.

The main dining room welcomes guests with a breakfast buffet, while lunches and dinners are served around a large table by the fireplace. A relaxation area overlooking the vineyards and a library with books in four languages provide the perfect setting for unwinding.

The Second House
This house offers two bedrooms, each with a private shower room and toilet, ensuring comfort and privacy.

The Third House
Located opposite the main house, this residence features two separate bedrooms that can be connected to form a spacious suite.

The Fourth and Fifth Houses
The fourth house is dedicated to offices, the wine cellar, and the Porto wine aging cave. It also hosts a unique exhibition showcasing decorative pieces by Pierre Yovanovitch. The exhibited masterpieces come from the private collection of the estate’s owner, creating an inspiring space for discovery.

A magnificent terrace overlooking the vineyards—an exquisite balcony over the Douro—adds to the estate’s charm, forming an unforgettable natural sculpture effect.

By train (from Porto) : Approximately 2h30 to 3h travel time. From Porto São Bento or Porto Campanhãun train to Régua or Pinhão on the Douro line (Linha do Douro). The train journey follows the Douro River, offering magnificent panoramic views. From Pinhão, you can take a cab to Quinta da Côrte (approx. 15-20 minutes).
