Description

Built in the 12th century, it is a typical cluster of ancient farmhouses. Its watchtower rises higher to protect the farmer’s buildings and land. Today, it serves as the perfect retreat for a dream vacation in Tuscany, with spacious and secluded gardens, a panoramic pool at the edge of an old olive grove, and breathtaking views.

Podere Lupinati stands atop a small hill surrounded by cypress trees and olive groves, about 400 meters above sea level, overlooking stunning vineyards in the heart of the Chianti region. Due to its privileged location, Podere Lupinati enjoys a very special climate during the summer, offering our guests pleasantly cool nights even during the hottest summers, without the need for air conditioning. It is also ideal for group events such as weddings and corporate gatherings.

Composition

The upstairs apartment with a balcony consists of a large kitchen-dining area and living room with a classic Tuscan fireplace, 2 double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms with showers. There are also 2 toilets. A small patio is furnished for your outdoor dining.

By car (approx. 45-60 minutes) : - SS67 towards the A1/E35 freeway. - Freeway A1 towards Roma, exit at Impruneta. - Directions to Greve in Chianti via SR222 (“Via Chiantigiana”). - SP118 to Tenuta Casenuove, just a few kilometers from Greve in Chianti. This option by car allows you to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Chianti region.
By bus (approx. 1h30) : - At the Florence SMN (Santa Maria Novella) bus station, take a bus to Greve in Chianti (SITA or Tiemme line). - take a cab to Tenuta Casenuove (approx. 10-15 minutes by car).
San Gimignano : 50 minutes away by car
