Description

Built in the 12th century, this is a typical cluster of ancient farms. Its watchtower rises higher to protect the farmer’s buildings and land. Now, it serves as the perfect retreat for a dream vacation in Tuscany, with spacious and secluded gardens, a panoramic pool on the edge of an old olive grove, and breathtaking views. Podere Lupinati stands atop a small hill surrounded by cypress trees and olive groves, about 400 meters above sea level, overlooking stunning vineyards in the heart of the Chianti region. Due to its privileged location, Podere Lupinati enjoys a very special climate during the summer, offering our guests pleasantly cool nights even during the hottest summers, without the need for air conditioning. It is also ideal for group events such as weddings and corporate gatherings.

Composition

Podere Lupinati consists of 5 suites (villas), each with its own independent kitchen, an outdoor kitchen below, a large shared pool offering breathtaking views of the vineyards, sun loungers for sunbathing, and a shop offering local wines and products.

From Florence: By helicopter (approx. 10 minutes) : booking required
By car (approx. 45-60 minutes) : - SS67 towards the A1/E35 freeway. - Freeway A1 towards Roma, exit at Impruneta. - Directions to Greve in Chianti via SR222 (“Via Chiantigiana”). - SP118 to Tenuta Casenuove, just a few kilometers from Greve in Chianti. This option by car allows you to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Chianti region.
By bus (approx. 1h30) : - At the Florence SMN (Santa Maria Novella) bus station, take a bus to Greve in Chianti (SITA or Tiemme line). - take a cab to Tenuta Casenuove (approx. 10-15 minutes by car).

The air is filled with the intoxicating scent of sunshine, olive trees, and ripe grapes. Drive along winding roads without a care, as if you were the stars of a film, soaking up the magic of Tuscany at every turn. Chianti offers unique wine tastings in the heart of the vineyards. The region is also home to medieval villages perched atop hills—such as Radda in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, and Castellina in Chianti—that are perfect for exploring on foot, by bike, or by car. The castles of Chianti are also must-see attractions. Once used as fortresses and noble residences, these castles now offer guided tours that immerse you in the region’s rich history. Among the most famous are Castello di Volpaia near Radda, Castello di Ama in Gaiole, and Castello di Brolio—architectural gems with spectacular views over the Tuscan hills.
